Byproducts can be a major liability or valuable opportunity. We excel at finding opportunities for reducing the cost or capturing value from byproducts such as ash and effluents. We manage marketing for 30,000 tons of material, creating an extended value chain through a large region.

We recognized the opportunity for an agricultural company to generate unique renewable energy attributes from a system they were completing. BES managed facility registrations and associated modifications, and managed utility contract negotiations worth more than $2 million. We have since secured more than $150 million in utility and REC contracts.
